This CCPA Policy supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA.
Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (including for cross-context behavioral advertising)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
“Sale” or “Sharing” of Information
We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of advertising cookies by Google and other partners may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings and the industry opt-out tools, and through any “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control we provide.
How to Exercise Your Rights
To submit a request, email contact@hopefraf.org with the subject “CCPA Request”. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to act on your behalf.
Global Privacy Control
We aim to honour recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) where applicable.
