HOPE FOR RURAL AFRICA FOUNDATION VISION AND MISSION ON HEALTH
There are so many diseases that affect the ordinary African and it is very difficult to access health care in rural Africa.
A disease like Malaria have been in Africa for centuries.Despite the numerous scientific researches in the treatment and prevention of Malaria, it is a leading cause of mortality in Africa. The group of persons who are hard hit are pregnant women and children in rural Africa. Malaria affects rural and urban families alike. African leaders spend a chunk of their annual budget in fighting Malaria, yet there is little progress in eradicating the disease.
This has necessitated HOPEFRAF to add health support to its mission and vision for rural Africa in areas such as:
I. Basic health equipment and infrastructure
ii. Health Screening
III. Health education.
In the area of equipment, we intend to support rural Africa with mosquito bed nets, Mosquito spray, clutches, wheelchairs, etc. Also, as the saying goes, prevention is always better than cure. HOPEFRAF will engage the expertise of health professionals to undertake periodic health screening for our rural communities to arrest diseases at their early stages before it gets worse where treatment becomes expensive and sometimes impossible.
All interested persons who want to be part of this HOPEFRAF train are all welcome to support rural Africa in any form of donation.
